Ever read a manga and really wonder what it would be like if it was made into an anime series? Ever actually have that happen and ended up loving both? Kingdom, the anime recently released in June 2012, actually is based off an ongoing manga written by Yasuhisa Hara that has been running in the Weekly Shounen Jump since 2006! Wow, 6 years!!
Excitingly enough, Anime News Network did a Japanese Comics ranking for August and Kingdom made it onto the list at #6! One Piece made it to the top at #1 and is followed by another fan favorite Fairy Tail at #2! Check out the list here! Any of your favorite manga turned animes make the cut?
