Literally meaning spheres, the Tangan is a specially designed projectile weapon that can launch deadly gas over a long-range. It was created by Han General, Sei Kai, who used poison in warfare.
History[]
It was first used in the story by the Poison Weapons Corps under the command of Sei Kai, the commander-in-chief of the Han army during the coalition war with Qin.
Uses[]
The siege bow used to launch the Tangan requires 3 men to pull it for maximum torque and the headpiece is a sphere containing the toxic gas. The sphere is somewhat delicate as the men loading it on took caution to do so.
Strengths[]
The weapon is capable of traveling across a long distance and disperses its deadly contents upon impact, the gas dispersing quickly when exposed to air.
Weakness[]
Due to the difficulty of manufacturing, it is possible that they were rare to produce as the process to store the gas would require arduous work. They are also reasonably fragile (in order to break on impact) and need to be handled with care while being loaded onto siege crossbows.
