    • Both cities fall to Qin, however the Kan Ki Army takes 10 days longer due to Zhao soldiers fighting to the bitter end as a result of the previous massacre. [220]

Two Months Later: The Qin Chief of Military Affairs, Shou Hei Kun orders the start of the campaign for Gian. [221]

  • The grand strategy follows:
    • Ou Sen and Kan Ki will go around the north to take Atsuyo. From there, they will continue marching further into northern Zhao.
    • On another front, the Qin's northern and eastern armies will converge into one grand army and pass through Tai Gen and will proceed towards northern Zhao as they will act as reinforcements for the Great Generals.
    • After passing through Tai Gen, they will be folded into Ou Sen and Kan Ki's respective armies and take Gian in one fell swoop.
  • Yo Tan Wa and her army arrive to hold down Heiyou and Bujou castles.[222]
  • The Ou Sen Army, Kan Ki Army, Hi Shin Unit, Gaku Ka Army, and Heki Army combined armies head towards the northern Zhao to capture Atsuyo. [223]
  • The 10th King of Zhao, Yuu Boku assures Ri Boku that unlike his late father, he will do nothing to hinder him so that he can defend Zhao to the best of his ability, so that his own welfare and "pleasure" can last as long as possible.[224]
  • Ri Boku plans to cleave the Ou Sen and Kan Ki armies in twain at Atsuyo.[225]
  • Atsuyo is captured by the Ou Sen Army.
  • Qin's northern and eastern armies gathered under the command of general Sou Ha Kou numbering over 210,000 soldiers. [229]
  • The Zhao city of Sekirei is conquered by Qin General Heki without shedding single drop of blood as it was nearly deserted. [235]
  • The Ri Boku Army leaves the fortress of Gian for battle. [236]
  • The Ri Boku Army enters the fortress city of Gian, which was deserted by the remaining Qin armies. [255]
    • A sculpture of human body parts is left behind inside the city with a letter from Kan Ki as he threatens to etch Hika into history as a tragedy. [256]
  • The Battle of Hika takes place.
    • The Ri Boku Army disperses in order to reach Hika as soon as possible to save it but Ri Boku falls in the ambush of Kan Ki Army.[257]
      • In this ambush, there were three possible paths. The Kan Ki Army was in the center, Hi Shin Unit was on the left and Gaku Ka Army army was on the right.[258]
      • Ri Boku kills Shu Ma.[259]
      • Kan Ki breaks Ri Boku's sword and heavily wounds the Great Heaven's head in an attempt to kill him. [260]
      • The Ri Boku soldiers use themselves as human shields to keep Kan Ki and his soldiers away.
      • A soldier from the Ko Haku Kou Army critically wounds Koku'Ou with his spear. She later dies from her wounds. [261][262]
      • Jyou Ka Ryuu cuts down a severely injured Zenou and thinks him dead [263] but the Zhao General is later killed by the dying berserker as Zenou crushes his skull with his bare hands.[264]
      • Un Gen kills Ro Bin but is later killed by Na Ki. [265]
      • Na Ki is killed in battle after being pierced by Ri Boku Army soldiers' spears as he nears Ri Boku's position. [266]
      • Shou of the Saki Clan dies from his injuries. [267]
      • Ko Haku Kou cuts off Rin Gyoku's left hand but is killed and beheaded by Kan Ki in an instant. [268]
      • Rin Gyoku is killed in battle after being pierced by spears from multiple Ri Boku Army soldiers. [269]
      • Kan Ki, the fifth member of the Six Great Generals' second generation and cornerstone of the Qin military, is killed in battle after being pierced by many spears in his final attempt to take Ri Boku's head. [270]

Half a Month Later:

Two Months Later:

  • Tou Bi and Bi Hei get married. [277]
  • Ri Shin proposes to Kyou Kai and asks her to marry him after the Unification War is over but she requests some time before responding to his proposal. [278]
  • Kou asks Kyou Rei to marry him if they survive the incoming battles before the start of another campaign.

232 B.C.[]

231 B.C.[]

Summer:

  • Qin administration successfully implements the family register that allows them to order a forced conscription across the country and increase the size of their armies.[315][316]

September[317]:

  • The Hi Shin Unit is restructured and begins intensive training together with the Tou Army in anticipation of their next campaign.[330]

230 B.C.[]

Six Months Later:

  • Qin Second Great General Tou and General Ri Shin wrap up preparations and begin to set out with their joint army of 160,000 soldiers for the conquest of Han capital city, Shintei.[331]
    • Tou requests Ryuu'an to inform the neighboring castles and cities of the situation in Nanyou before heading out to battle.
    • The news of the happenings in Nanyou reach the neighbouring cities as well as Shintei through envoys of Qin, resulting in a significant depletion of 20,000 men from the initial 50,O00 meant for reinforcing the Han Army by the neighbouring cities.[332]
  • The combined armies of Han first Great General Raku'A Kan and second General Haku'ou Koku set out from Shintei to intercept the Qin Army at the Eitei Plains.[333]
  • The Battle of Eitei Plains takes place between the 160,000 strong Qin Army and the 190,000 soldiers of the Han Army[334], meanwhile Wei and Zhao prepare countermeasures in anticipation of a Qin victory.[335]
    • Ri Shin is appointed Vice General; making him Second-in-Command of the Qin Army by Great General Tou who serves as Commander-in-Chief.[336]
    • During the battle proceedings, Tou stealthily sneaks away from the Qin Army with a few guards to have a private meeting with Han Princess Nei whom had left Shintei in secret.[337]
      • Great General Tou requests Princess Nei to convince Shintei to surrender like Nanyou did, in order to avoid more needless bloodshed and to save as many Han lives as possible from impending calamity.[338]
