Battle of Eikyuu Arc[]
During the Battle of Eikyuu Kan was stationed at the Left Wing of the Zhao army, under the command of his Lord Father, Ryuu Haku Kou. His unit engaged with the Yoma Clan, who was under the leadership of Rai Do. During the battle the Yoma Clan noticed the enemies calling him "Young Master" and so they went to great lengths to capture him alive, bringing him to Rai Do himself.
Rai Do used a captured Kan to lure his father, Lord Ryuu Haku into a trap. After hearing that his youngest son was captured by the Kan Ki army's Right Wing General, Ryuu Haku Kou headed for the enemy in a frenzy, ignoring the counsel of his men to be cautious and let them take the lead into the obvious trap that lied before them. Ryuu Haku, however, paid them no heed and went straight into a clearing where he found the body of his youngest son, mangled and tied up high into a tree, with nine spears piercing his body.
Kan's death would invariably lead to his father's demise as well, but it also cost Rai Do his life as the bandit was captured by Kan's brother, Ryuu Fu.
