Personality[]
Shu Kei was said to be a woman of great intelligence and formal education, but she was stubborn and willing to stick to her guns by refusing to say a single word on rumors about possible promiscuity before she was married, a trait her son clearly inherited.
History[]
Shu Kei was born into the noble Kan Family. She was educated and beautiful, causing her to have had many suitors who vied for her favor. She eventually married into the Ou Family and became the wife of Ou Sen, the patriarch of the family. She became pregnant immediately after their union. However, a rumor began to spread that before her wedding with husband, she had a secret lover, and she was already carrying his seed before she became Ou Sen's bride. When Shu Kei was questioned about it, she refused to say anything. When delivering her son, she went unconscious and bled out right after giving birth to Ou Hon.
