San Nou is a 2000-Man Commander of Qin Military and lieutenant of Kyou Kai Army.

Appearance

San Nou is an older looking man with a soldier's build and always seen wearing a dispassionate but relaxed demeanor. He has small eyes, grayed hair with a mustache and goatee. On the battlefield he wears a standard armor and officer's helmet decorated with the Kyou Kai Army's emblems.

Personality

Not much is known about San Nou's personality, but among the Kyou Kai Army's commanders, he is the most serious showing least fanatical loyalty and affection towards Kyou Kai. However, he is as devoted to her as all the other commanders.

As one of her many right-hands, San Nou always makes sure to give Kyou Kai advice, for example, when it's time to give an inspiring speech. Ironically whenever trying to maintain morale himself, the other commanders openly show their preference for Kyou Kai typically ignoring him, which greatly infuriates him.

History

Nothing is known about San Nou's past. At some point before the Battle of Eikyuu, he joined Kyou Kai Unit.

Story

Battle of Eikyuu Arc

San Nou made his debut as one of the closest cavalry commanders of Kyou Kai at the Battle of Eikyuu. During the battle, after Shin killed the Zhao General, Gaku Haku Kou reinforcements appeared from the forest. Kyou Kai, who had arrived to the rescue, led the cavalry to counter the Zhao reinforcements with San Nou mong the front ranks, along with the other commanders of the Kyou Kai Unit.

Hango Campaign Arc

San Nou is officially promoted to the rank of lieutenant for the Kyou Kai Unit following the Hi Shin Unit's recruitment drive.

Three Pillars Arc

After Kyou Kai's promotion to the rank of a General, San Nou is promoted to the rank of a 2000-Man Commander. During the war council, he makes an announcement to the rest of the army but the others boo at him, citing that they wanted to hear it from Kyou Kai personally, which greatly annoyed the old man.

TBA Arc

San Nou participated in the Qin forces' full-scale offensive against the Zhao kingdom. When Kyou Kai appeared among the soldiers in her new armor, personally designed by her subordinates, he offered to give her a rousing speech, but she declined, citing that Shin would do it himself in front of everyone.

Abilities

Not much is known about his abilities, but he is likely not only an experienced but also a powerful soldier. He is a skilled cavalryman and knows when to support his men.
