Rin Gyoku was the adjutant of Great General Kan Ki and one of the Kan Ki Army's officers from the State of Qin. He was later promoted to the rank of a General of the Kan Ki Army's central army before the Battle of Eikyuu.

Appearance

Rin Gyoku wore armor and was equipped with two swords. He had a small goatee and middle long hair with a mallet, and tattoos on his face.

Personality

Rin Gyoku was bored with his life and running his bandit gang as he saw it all as a pointless life that would end in a pointless death but found a purpose after meeting Kan Ki. Like the rest of his comrades, Rin Gyoku often found Kan Ki's actions surprising which regularly bordered on insane. Rin Gyoku, despite his appearance, was a calm and coolheaded man that while used to killing, took no pleasure in killing or torture as he didn't feel comfortable when the Saki Clan was torturing the captured Zhao soldiers during the Battle of Koku You Hill with him puking when he saw their "work". Aside that, he had a sense of humor as he often laughed at Kan Ki's jokes.

History

In his youth, Rin Gyoku was a small-time bandit leader and outlaw that operated outside the countryside near the small town of Rohi. He and his gang would hear rumors of a strong group of bandits that operated in southern Qin, upon hearing these rumors they relocated and joined the Kan Ki Clan.

After joining hands with Kan Ki, Rin Gyoku's experiences were eye opening as he started thinking that life could actually be fun and felt really alive for the first time in his life.

Story

Kokuyou Campaign Arc

During the Battle of Kokuyou Hills, Rin Gyoku acted as Kan Ki's adjutant. While the Saki Clan is torturing the captured Zhao soldiers, to get information about Ki Sui of Rigan. He is seen puking because he can’t stand the smell and the view. As a cavalry commander, he was useless in the battle except being Kan Ki's guard.

Western Zhao Invasion Arc

When the siege of Gyou, Rin Gyoku and his clan was charged every Zhao force just because he was useless on Koku You. He was last seen snoring while the others eat.

Battle of Eikyuu Arc

Rin Gyoku served as the second general of the Kan Ki Army's central army during Battle of Eikyuu.

Rin Gyoku showed a proficiency in wielding two swords in battle as he easily cut through enemy lines. He was able to duel Fu Tei, a talented swordsman.

As a clan leader, Rin Gyoku held a leadership in his own clan and was often leading cavalry charges on the battlefield.

Rin Gyoku was a strategic thinker that was capable of figuring out solutions on the battlefield.

Trivia

• Rin Gyoku's appearance may be homage to the wasteland villains of the 1980s Fist of the North Star manga series.
• Rin Gyoku is one of the few named characters to have actually dueled Ri Boku in a melee and nearly kill him in battle.
