Story[]

Western Zhao Invasion Arc[]

During the major invasion of the Qin troops under the command of Kan Ki, Ou Sen and Yo Tan Wa, the city of Retsubi was their first important point to capture, as it opened the way to advance to the city of Gyou located near the Zhao capital, Kantan. Approaching the city, Ou Sen, being the commander-in-chief of all the troops, ordered the Yo Tan Wa Army and Hi Shin Unit to capture the city and they began its siege.

Meanwhile, Retsubi Army prepared everything necessary for the siege, hoping to hold out for only a couple of days until the capital's army arrived. However, the officers and soldiers were highly motivated and their morale was high, so they remained steadfast in their efforts and even demonstratively led some of their cavalry out of the gates to demonstrate their fortitude to the enemy.

In response, after a loud and motivating speech, Yo Tan Wa sends forward a small unit of Hiba Tribe, renowned for their speed. The unit manages to catch the cavalry retreating through the gates, but they are unable to penetrate. A standard siege begins.

During the siege, Retsubi Army manages to hold off the Qin forces, preventing them from gaining a foothold on the walls, but after the arrival of the Hi Shin's archer brothers and the elimination of many Zhao officers by Sou Jin's arrows, the Qin forces manage to gain a foothold and Bajio personally begins to capture the walls. The mountain soldiers manage to break through the walls and, using the Chita Tribe's sense of smell, find a secret passage where the gate opening mechanism is located.

The gates are opened, the newcomers of the Hi Shin Unit, supported by cavalry, rush in, and a battle ensues. During the battle, the newcomers suffered some losses, but the Hi Shin veterans kept an eye on them and helped them in their time of need. In an attempt to counterattack, Retsubi Army sent a Unitof Raika's cavalry. The unit managed to briefly halt the Qin advance and even wound officer Den Yuu, but Ri Shin personally entered the fray, and the unit was quickly defeated.

Ultimately, the city was captured within a day.
