Raishin (雷進) (eng. Lightning Advance) is an encirclement tactical maneuver used by Great General Raku'A Kan.
Overview[]
The purpose of this formation is to separate and encircle advancing enemies by creating walls of soldiers between the enemy's center and its wings. If the flanks attempt to break through to support the center, they can be countered by deploying cavalry reserves to flank them. As a result, the center is cut off from reinforcements, while the wings are subjected to individual attacks.
Strengths & Weaknesses[]
Effective use of this formation requires a commander with a comprehensive view of the battlefield and a well-trained army capable of executing precise maneuvers.
