|Epithet||Tiger of Chu, Conqueror of the East.|
Kou En is a Great General of the state of Chu. He is also called "The Tiger of Chu" and has the longest service record. He is currently first in command in Chu military and informally known as the "Conqueror of the East."
So far he has only been mentioned and has yet to make an actual, real appearance.
Nothing is known about Kou En's personality as he yet makes an appearance in the storyline.
When Kan Mei was still a young general, he served Kou En in his army as his deputy general.
The King of Chu, Kou Retsu, was considering to send Kou En after Kan Mei's failure. But Ren Pa recommended not to do this, since the Chu would have to break through the defenses and would not make it in time, in order to make an impact.
Little is known about Kou En's abilities but it is indicated that he is an exceptional general. He is now currently the first in command of Chu Military. He was also very deductive, as Ri En quoted him saying: "In spite of the Chu being the state that spans the most land, it has yet to utilize the full potential of its resources."
