King is the title given to the ruler of the country of the royal bloodline. It is the custom that the king gains full authority and political power after their Coming of Age Ceremony.

Some of the mountain tribes of the Warring States have their own kings, but unlike the kings of the Lowlands and Middle Kingdom, the king can be anyone as long as they show their leadership and strength regardless of their gender, be it a woman or a lowlander. Even a king's first child cannot become the next king unless he proves himself worthy of that title or has a significant amount of political power and influence.
