History[]

Years ago in his youth, Kan Saro was a wandering mercenary that fought on the outer ranges of the Zhao/Yan borders. He was a very capable soldier having the heads of many enemy commanders. He became known as being a "lone wolf" amongst the other Zhao soldiers and mercenaries.

On these battlefields he befriended another strong mercenary called Ji Aga who was fighting on his own. Together they formed a blood pact to fight on as companions. Together he and Ji Aga joined Shi Ba Shou after recognizing him as man worth following.

Story[]

Zhao's Retaliation Arc[]

Kan Saro and Ji Aga made their debut as Seika generals sent to Roumou. Upon arrival, they were warmly welcomed by the local lord. Taking command of the city's army, they later attacked the 200,000-strong Qin army led by Sou Ha Kou. Due to the inexperience of the troops, the size of the army, and the surprise, Kan Saro quickly found a commander-in-chief and kill him. During the Battle at Roumou Cliff, two generals managed not only to kill the commander-in-chief but also to reduce the number of soldiers sent as reinforcements from 200,000 to 50,000 soldiers who were not afraid and reached their destination.

Hango Campaign Arc[]

Kan Saro took part in the Battle of Hango where he and his army confronted the Qin forces represented by the Sou'Ou Army and later the Ou Sen Army. During the battle, Kan Saro fought one of Den Ri Mi's "swords," Shin Kaku Gaku, and killed him. He also spared Shi Ryou's life by not finishing her off after she defeated Ji Aga. Afterwards, he, together with his army, helped Shi Ba Shou break through to the Qin HQ and during the breakthrough, approaching Den Ri Mi, he did not mutilate his body when he saw that he had let out a sigh.

After the battle, while in his tent, he spoke with Sou'Ou, who came to him and, having voluntarily surrendered, tearfully asked to show him Shi Ryou's body or what was left of her. Kan Saro not only saved Shi Ryou's life but also healed her wounds. He allowed her to reunite with her beloved and, giving them a horse, sent them back.
