Personality[]
Kan Ei is arrogant and overconfident in his abilities. He was positive that if he had been at Rinko's side, the Heavenly King would not have died during the Battle of Sanyou. He is also very vengeful, as he held a deep hatred for Shin and the Hi Shin Unit after his defeat at their hands.
History[]
During Qin's 242 BC invasion in Wei, he was part of the center army under General Rin Ko. The loss suffered at the hands of the Hi Shin Unit created hatred and thirst for vengeance. He re-emerged in the Risei area with 4,000 men as a staging point to reclaim the region of Sanyou.
Story[]
Sanyou Aftermath Arc[]
After the loss, he held a grudge against Shin who killed Rinko. With Hyou Ki and Dou Sei, he engaged the weakened Hi Shin Unit with 4,000 men. He was completely confident that they would emerge victorious since the Hi Shin Unit was on a recent losing spree. However, the Hi Shin Unit's strategist Ka Ryo Ten was able to outplay them, leading to their defeat and capture.
