Kai Oku is one of Shou Hei Kun's vassals, and a lecturer at the strategist's academy. He was sent by his master along with close to 100 soldiers to reinforce Sai.


Kai Oku has long hair divided in two ponytails and a long goatee. He is always seen with a grim smile on his face. He is consistently show wearing elaborate robes (whether it be over armor on the battlefield or in peacetime).


Seems to enjoy teasing people from his interactions with both Mou Ki and Ka Ryo Ten.


At some point in the past, he joined Shou Hei Kun's academy of strategist and managed to become one of his trusted vassals.


Coalition Invasion Arc[]

Kai Oku is a palace official who was going to be sent by Shou Hei Kun to Naifu with 1000 men to find out what was going on with the reports of recent attacks. However, seconds after, a report came inform them that Naifu had already fallen.

Battle of Sai[]

When Ei Sei decided to make his stand in the city of Sai, Shou Hei Kun sent Kai Oku with close to 100 of his vassals to assist the king. To scatter as their forces saw fit. Of them were 50 or so officers capable of leading. To the amazement of the commanding officers. When,Ka Ryo Ten saw him she was astonished. Then Mou Ki showed up along with Koua and Kinryou. When Ten started to weep, Kai Oku told her not to. Because, her tears were best suited for when they emerged victorious from the battle, and when she first knew the body of a man. Also, that she should be wary of Mou Ki while receiving an angry remark from Mou Ki. Ten told them that it was not the time to be messing around.

State of Ai Arc[]

Kai Oku was sent to Sanyou City by Shou Hei Kun. His objective was to quell unrest within the army and to discover if there were any plots from the Queen Mother and Rou Ai. He later returns to Kanyou with his master to help quell the uprising.

Koku You Campaign Arc[]

Western Zhao Invasion Arc[]

He was one of the four heads in the tactical HQ for the Gyou campaign. Later he led the fake supply force and briefly engaged Shun Sui Ju in battle.

    Kai Oku proves to be a capable military strategist and is one of the most noted lecturers at the best strategist academy of Qin. A good example is shown when he was sent by Shou Hei Kun to Sai with nearly 100 men to assist the city's defense.

    Physical Abilities[]

    Kai Oku is adept in the usage of a glaive as shown in the battlefield. He was able to engaged Shun Sui Ju in battle briefly without any serious injuries.

    Tactical Abilities[]

    During the battle of Sai, he served as the commander of the north wall. he was able to quickly deduce which wall was the most vulnerable and would quickly send reinforcements over whenever he could. He later serves one of the four strategists in the tactical HQ to devise a plan for the Gyou campaign.
