The Hi Shin Unit, also known as the Fei Xin Unit, (Fast and Trustworthy/Flying Arrow/Faith) is a Qin Military specialist army unit personally commanded by Qin General Ri Shin. They consist of over 60,000 soldiers between 40,000 from the main unit and the 20,000 from Kyou Kai Army. After the Conquest of Han, Yoko Yoko and his newly formed army of 50,000, comprising of former Han soldiers are attached to the unit.
The unit was originally a 100-Man Unit mostly made up of experienced soldiers from the commoner backgrounds that was formed during the Battle of Bayou years ago.

| Coalition Invasion/Battle of Sai | Shin is assigned the Southern Wall Commander of Sai's walls and the unit defends the wall from the attacking Ri Boku Army on the first day. On the second day, Shin saves Ka Ryo Ten from being taken prisoner by Zhao Commander Kaine and her unit, injuring her as well as incapacitating the Kaine Unit. On the fifth day, Shin saves Ei Sei from the Ri Boku Army's captain, Sou and his soldiers. On the sixth day, Shin rallies the Hi Shin Unit into destroying dozens of Zhao soldiers. On the seven and final day, Shin personally duels Hou Ken, the Bushin for the second time and critically injures him while forcing the martial artist to retreat. |

Both Shin and Kyou Kai's potential promotions and awards are negated after attacking the Kan Ki Army. | Gyou Campaign/Battle at Shukai Plains | The Hi Shin Unit and the Yo Tan Wa Army siege and conquer the Zhao city of Retsubi, the state of Zhao's equivalent to Qin's National Gate" of Kankoku Pass in 1/2 of the day. Sou Jin, a rookie of the unit, shoots and kills Zhao Wall Officers Ba Toku, Den'I, and countless Zhao soldiers, creating a foothold for Commander Bajio. Shin kills Zhao Cavalry Commander Rai Ka with General Ou Ki's Podao. The Hi Shin, Gyoku Hou, and Gaku Ka Units capture the city of Santan and another one. They cast out the civilians, creating more refugees who move east towards Gyou. In the beginning of the Battle at Shukai Plains, Shin, Kyou Kai, Ka Ryo Ten, and their small unit of 500-Men assist the Gaku Ka Unit in saving half of the Ma Kou Army's soldiers after General Ma Kou's assassination on the Qin Army's left-win. Sent as reinforcements, the unit faces the Gyou'un Army in battle, saving the Gyoku Hou's Ban You from being killed. Shin takes command of the Hi Shin Unit's tactics and prevents the Zhao army from over-taking them. He then stops Zhao General Gyou’un's attack on their HQ. Kyou Kai creates a stratagem of an "anchor point" to funnel the Zhao and destroys a portion of the Gyou'un Army that sits an equal amount of damage for both armies. Shin succeeds in slaying the Zhao General in a single slash. With the loss of General A Kou, Shin "awakens" the Hi Shin Unit with a passionate speech, and they push back the Zhao's left wing, allowing the central Qin Army's right wing to move e the center on the twelfth day. Shin is declared the defacto commander of Qin's right-wing after Zhao's machinations incapacitate Ou Hon, and the Hi Shin Unit becomes the right-wing's core. Ka Ryo Ten becomes the right-wing's Strategist in its entirety, she assigns both En and Shou Sa the duty of minimizing their casualties to use a "letting the enemy cut their flesh so you can break their bones" tactic against the Zhao armies led by Zhao General Chou Ga Ryuu and the Chou Ga Ryuu Army. Shou Sa risks his life to save the lives of Kan To and the Hi Shin rookies, he dies in battle after being heavily injured but manages to save a significant portion on the unit's rear. Shin slays Jo Rin, the left captain of the Dojaku. The Hi Shin Unit's cavalry annihilates and destroys the Dojaku the Chou Ga Ryuu Army's elite cavalry with Kyou Kai, her unit and Na Ki Clan's help. The Hi Shin Unit corners Chou Ga Ryuu and Shin slays the veteran Zhao commander in a one-on-one duel. The Qin Army's right wing pushes their way to the center after Ou Hon defeats Zhao General Gyou'un. Leading the charge, the Hi Shin Unit and Right-wing flank the Zhao Army's center armies and close in on the Ri Boku Army’s HQ. The Sou brothers, Jin and Tan save Ka Ryo Ten from Zhao General Kin Mou and his unit's ambush on her with Sou Tan killing the Zhao General. Kyou Kai attempts to kill Hou Ken but fails only managing to injury the Bushin. Shin duels with Hou Ken and kills the martial artist at coast of nearly dying. |
Shin is officially promoted to the rank of a General and becomes known as "Ri Shin". Kyou Kai is promoted to the rank of a 5000-Man Commander. After the Hango Campaign, as part of Shou Hei Kun's military reform to make unification possible despite their two consecutive defeats, the Hi Shin Unit was reinforced and Kyou Kai made General, allowing for 40,000 soldiers under the command of Li Xin and 20,000 under Kyou Kai, transforming the Hi Shin Unit into an army of 60,000 in total.

Shin was able to defeat the Zhao general Kei Sha during the Koku You campaign. And Kyou Kai slaid Ryuu Tou of Rigan in a duel. However, their achievements were not rewarded, because they attacked their own general, when they heard that he had ordered his men to slaugther the civilians.
Henceforth the Hi Shin Unit is remaining a 8000-Man Unit, with Shin as a 5000-Man Commander and Kyou Kai serving as a 3000-Man Commander.

A few days after the conquest of Kinrikan in Sanyou, the unit was promoted to a 1000 Man Unit. 700 soldiers of the defunct Kaku Bi 1000-Man Unit joins them to bolster their numbers.
As 1000-Man Unit, they saw action in the final stage of the Sanyou Campaign, Risei and Bishi region subjugation, patrol duty on Chu-Qin border and during the Coalition Army invasion of Qin.

Etymology[]
- Shin chose to keep the name of a "unit" instead of an army despite having become an General, because the name "Hi Shin" Unit had been given by the late General Ou Ki.
Trivia[]
- According to Yasuhisa Hara, the "Hi Shin" of the unit's name was named after Li Guang's nickname, "Hishougun" or Flying General.
- Through interviews it was revealed that some of the early members of the unit were named after Hara's old coworkers.
