|“||That Kitou Sai or whatever fellow might be a mediocre commander but somehow he's also well liked by the Wei people. It's much easier for us too if we use him as the figurehead while I control things from behind.||”|
Haku Ki Sai was a middle-aged man with a clean face. He wore a Wei Army general's armor under a dark cape.
Although he was cowardly natured, Haku Ki Sai was liked by the Wei people. He seemed calm and well aware of his abilities, as he stood in silence while Kai Shi Bou mocked him for running away from the battlefield at the sight of Ouki.
He served the Go Kei Army as the 2nd Army General so must have fought alongside him for many years earning him the rank go, General. He is then promoted to Great General and made the Commander-in-Chief of the Wei army during the Sanyou Campaign.
On Qin's offensive against Wei in 245 BC, he was a Vice General in an army led by Great General Go Kei. When Go Kei was beaten by Duke Hyou, although he was the only person available to lift the morale of the Wei soldiers, in the presence of General Ou Ki he was paralyzed in fear.
During Qin's offensive against Wei in 242 BC, he was acting as Commander-In-Chief of the Wei army, however, Ren Pa was the real power behind the army. As the vanguard units battled on the Rui Plains, he noticed that the Qin were gaining the upper hand but Ren Pa calmed him down, saying that the Wei would soon show their true strength.
When Kan Ki managed to sneak into the enemy headquarters, Haku Ki Sai was captured but refused to beg for his life and was immediately slain.
Haku Ki Sai was said to be mediocre general. Despite this, he was said to be popular among Wei people which allowed him to keep the morale of Wei armies high. His popularity was the reason he was chosen as Commander-in-chief during Qin's Sanyou Invasion.
