The Gyou'un Army was a Zhao Military army personally commanded by Zhao General Gyou’un. The army once served as the strongest army that consisted of harden warriors and veterans of numerous battlefields from the Era of War God, under the late Great General Rin Shou Jo's personal army, the Rin Shou Jo Army of the Three Great Heavens.
History[]
In the past, the army was part of Rin Shou Jo Army. She had fought on many battlefields and against many strong opponents, one of whom was the one of Six Great Generals of Qin Ou Ki.
After Rin Shou Jo died, unlike eight of his other deputies, Gyou’un survived.
Story[]
Western Zhao Invasion Arc[]
The Gyou'un Army, along with the Ri Boku Army and many other Zhao armies, confronted the Qin army with Ou Sen as its commander-in-chief. During the first two days of the Battle at Shukai Plains, the army was idle and kept in reserve near the HQ of the Zhao army.
On the third day of the battle, an army of 10,000 soldiers advanced to the front and engaged the A Kou Army. The Gaku'Ei Army and Chou Ga Ryuu Army also joined the battle. Seeing the pressure from the A Kou Army, Ou Hon and his unit moved to help but were caught by the soldiers of the Gyou'un Army. They almost managed to kill the deputy Ban You, but Hi Shin Unit came to the rescue in time and saved him.
Together they managed to stop the army's advance and force Gyou'un to personally go after their heads, but the arrival of all of Hi Shin Unit's forces changed the commander's plans, and he weakened his army's onslaught. The army was regrouped and completely diverted to Hi Shin Unit. Gyou'un decides to test the newly arrived Qin forces and he sends Shin Riku's unit to attack, but the unit, having dealt damage to the new recruits, quickly chokes in the attack and becomes surrounded, quickly losing soldiers.
After this, a large-scale confrontation between the two armies began. Gyou'un, using his instincts, began sending numerous troops to disrupt the balance, and Ka Ryo Ten was unable to actively counteract this. Ri Shin and Kyou Kai personally arrived at HQ to control the situation. Thanks to his instincts, Shin managed to normalize the situation and personally meet Gyou'un on the battlefield. The duel between Gyou'un and Shin lasted until the end of the third day, and the rest of the Gyou'un Army failed to shake Hi Shin Unit thanks to Kyou Kai's command.
On the ninth day of the battle, the army of Chou Ga Ryuu, Ba Nan Ji and Gyou'un again attacked the army of A Kou. Having broken through the forces of Gu Nei, Gyou'un intervenes in the duel between Ba Nan Ji and A Kou, which incapacitates A Kou, but the appearance of A Ka Kin saves him.
On the morning of the twelfth day, after a fiery speech, Hi Shin Unit launched a chaotic attack on Gyou'un's forces. Charged with Shin's speech, the unit broke through all the lines of defense. This forced the army to retreat.
The next day, the army continued to confront Hi Shin Unit's forces, but with the support of the remaining forces of Gaku'Ei Army. Gyou'un himself set out for Gyoku Hou Unit's position to defeat Ou Hon. Accompanied by the best 300 horsemen, he managed to quickly break through the Qin ranks. But this turned out to be a diversionary tactic, and Gyou'un, accompanied by Ten Spears Unit, quietly approached Gyoku Hou's HQ.
A skirmish ensued, and Ou Hon had to fight off all his opponents at once. Kan Jou came to the rescue and managed to open a gap for Ou Hon's retreat. Ou Hon managed to injure Gyou'un's arm, but he himself was incapacitated. His soldiers caught him and managed to lead him out of the encirclement, but Kyuu Kou sacrificed himself to delay Ten Spears.
On the last day of the battle, Gyou'un ordered Ten Spears to find and kill Shin and Ou Hon, but Ou Hon and his unit attacked Gyou'un's HQ themselves. After a short conversation, a duel began and Ou Hon was able to pierce Gyou'un with his spear. Shin, who arrived in time, helped the tired Ou Hon fight off Gyou'un's guards, but he, being alive, stopped them. He told them about Rin Shou Jo and died without falling from his horse. The Zhao warriors were demoralized, and Hi Shin Unit rushed to the neighboring battlefield to kill Ri Boku.
