Gaku Shou is the General of the Gaku Shou Army and hails from the city of Seika under Shi Ba Shou's jurisdiction. He is the second most capable military commander in Seika, behind Kan Saro.
Appearance[]
Gaku Shou appears to be young man with long hair and mid height. He has a peaceful looking face and two moles under his left eye. On the battlefield he wears decorated armor, cape and helmet with wings on sides.

Gaku Shou is a calm and collective man that fits his strategic mindset.

Story[]
Battle of Eikyuu Arc[]
When Ri Boku returned from his exile, Gaku Shou and Jyou Ka Ryuu accompanied him and his vassals from Seika city to join the frontlines.
Zhao's Retaliation Arc[]
During the Battle of Gian he was in charge of the Gaku Shou Army and together with the Jyou Ka Ryuu Army they fought against the Hi Shin Unit and the Gaku Ka Army. He fought duels with Mou Ten, Ai Sen and Shin. During these duels he was able to heavily wound Mou Ten and for a time block Ai Sen and Shin from retreating with their armies.
At the Battle of Hika he was once again fighting the Hi Shin Unit. He successfully prevented the Hi Shin Unit from influencing the central battlefield and even allowed the Jyou Ka Ryuu Army to support Ri Boku without getting engaged by the Hi Shin Unit.

Abilities[]
Gaku Shou is noted to be the second most capable commander amongst Shi Ba Shou's vassals.[1] Contrary to his appearance, Gaku Shou has shown himself capable of being a strategic general and a frontline commander.
Physical Abilities[]
Glaive Mastery: Gaku Shou is talented in wielding a glaive and was able to easily overpower Mou Ten with a single strike. He would later fight on par against Shin during their short fight and hold his own against A Kou.
Leadership[]
Gaku Shou is a capable leader as he commands his men effectively in battlefields.
Tactical Abilities[]
Master Strategist: Gaku Shou is a talented strategist and tactician as he was shown participating in Ri Boku's strategical meetings and making his assessments regarding warfare. To counter Mou Ten's Drill Formation, he used the same tactic while also cooperating with Jyou Ka Ryuu which resulted in the Qin's offensive being halted during the Battle of Gian. Even Ri Boku underestimated his fierce approaches to tactics.
Military Formation: Gaku Shou is very capable of performing military formations like Drill Formation and Line Formation.
