Gaku Jou is a Great General of the Zhao Military. He is from the same family as the "Military God" Gaku Ki.
Appearance[]
Gaku Jou has a long, dark goatee and wears a general's armor.
Personality[]
Gaku Jou seems somewhat reluctant to battle with Ren Pa and sweats when Ren Pa's blade is at his neck.
History[]
Gaku Jou belongs to the same family as Gaku Ki, he worked his way up the ranks to reach the position of Great General and fought with Ren Pa for twenty years.
Story[]
After Ren Pa was dismissed by King Tou Jou, Gaku Jou was sent to slay Ren Pa who refused the Zhao king's dismissal. He was confident to know Ren Pa's strategies since he had fought at his side for twenty years. Prior to the battle, he asks Ren Pa to come with him if not, he will be forced to take action. Ren Pa declines and returns to get his men ready to fight.
In the battle, he tells his men not to panic and orders the Kahou unit to the left then they should split in two. Gaku Jou is later seen at his camp, surrounded by men who inform him that Ren Pa has been beaten only for the Great General to arrive at the camp to win the battle by capturing Gaku Jou. Ren Pa lets him go stating that he is interested in fighting the Qin and tells Gaku Jou to keep growing stronger.
Abilities[]
Gaku Jou is a capable military commander with over twenty years of experiences and was counted as the second greatest general in Zhao after Ren Pa, but it was rumored that his abilities actually secretly surpassed even those of Ren Pa.
Because of that, King Tou Jou was confident enough to send him to slay Ren Pa, demonstrating his military prowess. Though compared to Six Great Generals of Qin, he was able to satisfy Ren Pa in warfare only to 60%.
Leadership[]
Gaku Jou possesses a decent leadership as he is able to command his soldiers in battlefields.
Tactical Abilities[]
Gaku Jou shows to be a capable tactician as he fought at Ren Pa's side for twenty years and know Ren Pa's strategies quite well, demonstrating considerable tactical skills. From there, he was able to destroy Ren Pa's unit with ease.
