Ga Ro is a 2000-Man Commander of the Qin Military and commander in the Hi Shin Unit. He is the Leader of Red Hi Hyou Unit and a former member of the Duke Hyou Army, he joined the then 3000-Man Unit Hi Shin Unit with Gaku Rai after their lord's death and became one of the most important members of the unit due to his immense experience as a soldier and fierce leadership within the upper echelon of the commanders.

Appearance

Ga Ro is a man in his 30s with long strawberry blonde hair tied in a ponytail with a long braid at the right side of his face. He has a small goatee with fierce looking eyes and a scar on his left cheek. In his youth, his appearance wasn't that different with exception of his hair being shorter.

Ga Ro wears a simple robe with decorated patterns on his collar for casual clothing. While fighting on the battlefield, Ga Ro wears the standard armor for a soldier with blue chainmail after joining the Hi Shin Unit and leather boots.

Personality

Ga Ro is very vocal with his opinions and is always ready to play devil's advocate. His respect for Shin led him to join his unit, but he can't forget his old master, Duke Hyou.

History

A young Ga Ro.

Ga Ro joined the Qin Military at a relatively young age and came to fight under the Duke Hyou Army, despite not knowing at the time. Due to his immaturity and attitude, he went through numerous units before finally being assigned to a young Gaku Rai and his unit. Ga Ro, while still reckless, quickly became a proper soldier while with Gaku Rai's guidance as they fought together across the Qin borders.

Story

Battle at Dakan Plains

A soldier with Ga Ro's scar and eyes was briefly seen alongside Duke Hyou and his army during their first charge into the Go Kei Army.

Coalition Invasion Arc

While not seen, Ga Ro was present with Duke Hyou, his detachment of soldiers, and the Hi Shin Unit as they attacked the Ri Boku Army during the Battle of the Southern Path. After the Duke was killed by Hou Ken, he went with the remaining Duke Hyou soldiers retreated with the Hi Shin Unit to the city of Sai. He would see Gaku Rai struck with immense grief about the Duke's death and brought to tears. After participating in the Battle of Sai, Ga Ro is first introduced as part of the newly formed 3000-Man Hi Shin Unit after the end of the Coalition invasion, serving under the command of Gaku Rai's 1000-man Hi Hyou Unit. After the security team's victory against some Wei forces, Ga Ro is eating dinner with Gaku Rai and the other Hi Shin members. He expresses his shock at the sight of Ka Ryo Ten as he found it surprising to find a girl on the battlefield and mistakenly believed that she must be good with a sword too after hearing some rumors. But he is soon corrected by Shin as he tells him a little about their female lieutenant.

Conspiracy in the Court Arc

Ga Ro is shown intercepting and attacking the Zhao army led by General Mai Kou.

Fire Dragons of Wei Arc

Ga Ro makes his reappearance as he is assaulting an infantry unit of the Wei’s Seven Fire Dragons Great General Gai Mou. He was also the first one to ask Shin what is Ka Ryo Ten's significance to him after her kidnapping.

He was part of the unit, led by Kyou Kai, tasked to charge the main Wei HQ to capture or kill the Commanding General Go Hou Mei.

State of Ai Arc

Ga Ro is left at the Wei front to continue the subjugation of Wei cities.

Zhao Crisis Arc

Ga Ro is promoted to 1000-Man Commander with his own unit, the Red Hi Hyou Unit. His former captain Gaku Rai leads the Black Hi Hyou Unit.

Three Pillars Arc

He is promoted to a 2000-Man Commander.

A veteran of numerous wars since his youth, Ga Ro has immense amount of battlefield experience from his years as a commander in the Duke Hyou Army and holds a great amount of influence within the Hi Shin Unit's upper echelon.

Physical Abilities

Glaive Mastery: Ga Ro is very proficient in wielding a podao as he is able to slay numerous enemy combatants and fight highly skilled warriors as he managed to slay a member of Ten Spears with the assistance from Sou Jin and assisted Shin in his fight against Jyou Ka Ryuu while later injuring Zhao General's right-hand, Un Gen.

Leadership

Ga Ro proves to be a capable leader as he is able to lead his unit effectively on battlefields.

Tactical Abilities

Ga Ro has a great amount of firsthand tactical knowledge from his years as a commander in the Duke Hyou Army.
