The Encroaching Coalition Army is the 1st episode of the third season and the 78th episode of the anime Kingdom.
Synopsis[]
Ei Sei, the king of the country of Qin, made an alliance of circumstance with Zhao, his neighboring country and enemy.
This allowed him to attack his other neighbor, the kingdom of Wei, and to seize a portion of its territory.
His Chancellor of the State is Ryo Fui, who has ambitions to dethrone him, but is too powerful to get rid of him.
His Chancellor of the Left is Shou Bun Kun, his most faithful ally.
His Chancellor of the Right and the supreme leader of the army is Shou Hei Kun, one of the "Four Pillars" of Ryo Fui.
Ei Sei can also count on Shin, his friend and ally who aspires to become "the greatest general under the heavens", now commander of the Hi Shin Unit.
He will need all the help he can get, because Ri Boku, the dreaded Prime Minister of the country of Zhao and member of the Three Great Heavens, is going to put an end to their alliance and launch a terrible attack against the country of Qin...
