Dou Kin

Dou Kin was a late vassal of the late Great General Ou Ki and was 5th Commander in his lord's army. After the death of his master, he came under Tou's command. He was killed by Rin Bu Kun, a general in the Chu army, while Tou Army was trying to hold off the superior Chu army.

Appearance

Dou Kin has a warrior's build, narrow eyes, goatee, and a mustache. He also has an earring on his left ear and the top of his head shaved off.

Personality

Dou Kin was deeply loyal to his lord as he instantly wept upon hearing the news of Ou Ki's death.

History

It is assumed that he has served in Ou Ki's battles in the past and has worked his way past being a 1000-man commander. He was present at one of the battles against the Rin Shou Jo Army in the past and observed Ou Ki and Rin Shou Jo's small conversation.

Story

Battle of Bayou Arc

Dou Kin is first seen, prior to the battle, with Ou Ki and the other vassals as his lord surveys the terrain.

During the Battle of Bayou he is placed in charge of the 5th army of Qin. At the meeting Mou Bu has with Ou Ki, he is placed under Mou Bu's command along with the other commanders so they can attack the Zhao headquarters at once.  On the fourth day of battle, his army charges at the Zhao headquarters some moments after Mou Bu's own, catching the Zhao by surprise. After the Zhao army retreats, he comments to all others present that they'll be impossible to see in the mountainous region and goes after the Zhao. His army and Rin Bou's are sent to checkmate the Zhao center army, leaving Ou Ki free to attack the Zhao headquarters.

Alliance Arc

Dou Kin, like all the commanders of the Ou Ki Army, attended the banquet to celebrate the reconciliation and the conclusion of the Zhao-Qin alliance.

Sanyou Campaign Arc

Dou Kin, like other commanders of Tou Army, was on alert, observing the enemy and conducting search and reconnaissance operations.

Coalition Invasion Arc

During the start of the Coalition Army Invasion, Dou Kin arrives with Tou and Rin Bou to buy some time for the other generals to re-position their forces. Hacking his way through Chu troops, he encounters Rin Bu Kun and gives his name before his skull is broken by the Chu general's mace.

Dou Kin proved to be a capable military commander. He was rumored to possess capabilities on par with actual generals despite officially not having the rank.

Dou Kin's charge

Glaive Mastery: Dou Kin was a skilled warrior and is very proficient with a glaive to cut down opposing foes. However, he was not fast enough to block a blow from Rin Bu Kun, that led to his death.

Leadership

Dou Kin was a capable leader as he led the 5th army into battle against the Zhao forces. He seems to prefer leading his forces from the front.
