History[]
The Battle of Chouhei (Chin: Battle of Changping) was a massive battle between the states of Qin and Zhao. Both sides were led by the greatest great generals of the respective kingdoms. On the side of Qin, they were led by Great General Haku Ki with Ou Ki acting as his deputy while Zhao was led by Ren Pa. The battle lasted for more than two years primarily due to Ren Pa protecting Chouhei with a defensive iron wall defensive strategy that both Haku Ki and Ou Ki were unable to break through. However, the Zhao King at the time lost patience with the stalemate and ordered a new hotblooded great general by name of Chou Katsu to replace Ren Pa which consequently led to their tragic defeat.
Following Qin's victory against the Zhao forces, Haku Ki concluded that he did not have enough supplies to feed the 400,000 prisoners of war. Putting the lives of his soldiers and stumping out any potential rebellion as a priority, he resolved to execute the prisoners by burying the disarmed soldiers alive in mass graves, thus committing a mass murder that ensured the state of Zhao would hold a murderous grudge and hatred against Qin to its dying breath while strengthening the ruthless reputation of the Qin military and his own.

Escape from Zhao Arc[]
Due to the massacre, mass resentment towards the Qin was formed within the hearts and minds of the Zhao people, especially within those that lost their family members and loved ones in the battle. Wanting revenge, the citizens of Kantan, the capital of Zhao, would brutalize a very young Ei Sei during his childhood by continuously abusing him as they beat him within an inch of his life whenever they had the opportunity. This eventually led the young king to view the full "ugliness" and very worst that humanity was capable of.
Battle of Bayou Arc[]
Leading the Zhao assault into Qin territory, Man Goku was responsible for the massacre of every and any Qin settlement they passed, going out of his way to attack small villages that held no importance to the war.
Coalition Invasion Arc[]
In the event that the Coalition army succeeded at capturing the royal capital Kanyou, Man Goku intended to slaughter and rape the city's people. After defeating Man Goku, Shin promised never to let an event like Chouhei occur again.
Survivors[]
- Man Goku - Having been buried alive with his father and older brother, a young Man Goku was the only survivor from Chouhei, and for his revenge, he went on to build his army from those who lost relatives and loved ones at Chouhei, with the sole purpose of making the people of Qin pay tenfold for their crime.
