The Name I Wanted to Give is the 846th chapter of the Kingdom manga.
Summary[]
90 days have passed since Han became "Eisen", a commandery of Qin, and that the transition to Qin's rule had been smoother than anticipated. The Qin army had been conducting joint training drills with former Han soldiers in Shintei, and the favorable proceeding of matters allowed some troops to be granted leave to return home, including the Hi Shin Unit, 200 days after the Tou Army and Hi Shin Unit departed for the conquest of Han.
Before heading home, Shin heads to Jou Castle with a few guards where the Gyoku Hou Army was stationed, to thank Ou Hon for holding off the Wei army during the attack on Shintei. Ou Hon quickly waves Shin off, and the Hi Shin Unit depart west from Shintei. The Hi Shin Unit stop by Nanyou, where they reunite with their friends and spend a night. They cross the Yellow River and run into Mou Ten and the Gaku Ka Army, who had similarly been granted leave and were heading home. The two units traveled home together, with a much slower pace than normal, and eventually parting ways with most nursing hangovers.
Shin's group finally arrive at their local area and disband there. Kyou Rei talks about how lonely it feels sometimes, having only her and Kyou Kai at home, and preferring it be noisy. She invites Shin to stay with them, pointing out that he would be alone if he went home anyway since Ka Ryo Ten had remained in Shintei. Shin and Kyou Kai look at each other and blush slightly, and Shin accepts Kyou Rei's offer. Kou says that he is jealous of their situation and wanted to hang out as well. Kyou Rei rebukes him for not visiting his mother first, but then thinks for a moment, and then tells Kou that she would visit him at his house instead, asking if it was a good time. Kou gladly accepts, and Kyou Rei tells Shin that she would leave the rest to him.
Right as Shin starts to head to Kyou Kai's home, a carriage rushes over with a summons from the king at the royal palace. Shin is bundled up into the carriage before he can refuse, and seeing Kyou Kai now left alone, Kyou Rei apologizes to Kou and decides to head home with her sister.
In Kanyou, Shin and Ei Sei spend time alone along the walls. Sei asks Shin what was bothering him, and Shin lets him know why he seemed bothered, but tells him not to laugh, and that he had more days off. Shin also says that he had a lot to tell Sei, and Sei expresses the same desires. Right as Sei begins to congratulate Shin, an entourage rushes over and tells him to hurry. Sei brings Shin along, overruling normal customs, and the two arrive just in time to see Sei's daughter born to You. Shin, Kou, and You recognize each other, and Shin quickly teases them.
Sei is revealed to have over thirty children, and a few days later, Sei's final child would be born, a boy named Ko Gai. After spending some time catching up with Sei, Shin would head back to Jouto Village, where he would arrive just in time for the birth of Bi Hei's child. With Tou Bi's blessings, Bi Hei names his son Tou, after his brother. While people tear up in the moment, Yuu Ri asks Shin if there would be another big war the next year. Shin confirms that there would be, and promises to win and come back safely.
