Reversal Tactics is the 703rd chapter of the Kingdom manga.
Summary[]
In Kanyou, the news that Kan Ki and Ou Sen have begun the siege of the two fortresses of Heiyou and Bujou reaches the courts. High Command believes that the news of Kan Ki's massacre spreading, the wild rage of Zhao would have made them attack on a larger scale but the withdrawal of soldiers from the regions to be positioned in the fortresses is interpreted as fear. The information that after the death of Ko Chou, Ri Boku returned to Kantan is reported but no great change is observed. They rejoice that once the two fortresses have fallen, they will be able to launch their army on the capital of Zhao, Kantan.
At that moment, a message from Great General Ou Sen arrived for the headquarters: "Zhao's Great Wall stands between Kantan and the two cities. It will be difficult to pass it, but I see a great opportunity to use this against them. We will put a lid on the north by attacking Gian." Ei Sei understands that Ou Sen intends to close the escape route of the Zhao's royal family.
Shou Hei Kun confirms that if some royalty managed to survive the fall of Kantan and so will Zhao, they would form a new kingdom named Zhao elsewhere, prolonging the war in the region.
Shou Bun Kun request the map of northern Zhao. Gian is located north of Kantan, beyond the Taikou Mountain ranges. Above it is Kodasui and Chuzan, where the boundary of what can be considered China is located. At north of Chuzan lies the wasteland, Dai, an empty land that is still considered as a territory of Zhao. To the west of Dai lies Ganmon, the place Ri Boku used to govern.
Shou Hei Kun worries that despite the bad relationship between the imperial court and Ri Boku, they can successfully hide away in Ganmon, needing to devote strength to eliminating them. This would make them unable to use their full strength against their greatest threat, Chu, that could spell their doom. The wall described by Ou Sen protects Zhao from their army but also prevents them from escaping to the south. Shou Hei Kun agrees with Ou Sen's scheme to attack Gian and will prepare a new plan for the conquest of Zhao.
At Bujou, the army of Ou Sen manages to take the city thanks to the effectiveness of the forests of ladders set up by Den Ri Mi. A 1000-Man Commander, San Shuu who promotes the merits of his general and does not fear the arrows. Sou'Ou and Shi Ryou and their forces take care of the city once the gates are opened.
At Heiyou, however, Kan Ki took ten days longer to bring down the fortress because of the fierce anger and wraith against him and the fear of being massacred if they lost. The management of the prisoners is delegated to the Hi Shin Unit, while the Kan Ki Army takes care of the plundering.
Two months later, Shou Hei Kun orders the armies of Ou Sen and Kan Ki to attack Gian through Atsuyo. The Yo Tan Wa Army relives them in the region south of Kantan. Moreover, the armies of the north and east of Qin will unite by passing through the north of the Taikou Mountain range, meeting at Taigen and then moving eastward to attack Gian as well.

High Points[]
- Heki learned how to speak the language of the Mountain Tribes and Quanrong after his time with the Yo Tan Wa Army.
- In Chapter 676, we learn that Zhao general Ri Haku must go down to the south but not to Heiyou. The cover page of this chapter shows us that he is in charge of the defense of the Zhao's great wall, a position which is perfectly adequate for the "General of Defense".
