Summary[]
Shin and Gaku Haku Kou continue their duel. Gaku Haku Kou starts punching and kicking Shin, changing his stance again. His soldiers intervene and attack Shin too. In response the Hi Shin soldiers try to help, but they are cut down by the general in an instant. Shin asks Suu Gen to no interfere but Suu Gen refuses since he might die. But Shin rebuffs him that is confident in wining this duel.
Gaku Haku Kou says Shin has a wholesome army, the Zhao duke goes on to talk about how unity and camaraderie are pressures of the battlefield. According to him the war is humanity's height of entertainment and that's why they will never stop fight each other, especially those who are strong will start war after war. On the other hand, he finds pleasure in killing those type of people. Shin is disappointed as he calls Gaku Haku Kou apathetic. The Zhao duke responds that it's because Shin is still young and lacks perspective in contrast to him and General Ko Chou. Ko Chou bears the pain of warfare in him while Gaku Haku Kou enjoys the pleasure, pain and ecstasy of warfare. He adds that the world should stay like that. Shin disagrees with him as their duel continues. Shin then is kicked to the stomach, coughing blood. The Zhao general states that whether you're killed by an intelligent invader or an idiot you are dead anyway, so it's pointless to think about it, but Shin has a different opinion.
Shin falls to the ground after a punch to his face and neck. Chou Kou, observing the duel, knows that his lord Gaku Haku Kou is unstoppable while he's wielding his Moon Blade, since there's no one who can match him in musculature and body armor. Shin starts to wonder how to get past his defenses and finally has an idea. He attacks his opponent head on. As he's about to counter with a kick Shin dives his sword in his knee pining him down. Then he shouts to Bi Hei as he throws him his glaive.
