Summary[]
Shukai Plains[]
The second day of the Battle of Shukai Plains ends after the clash at the right wing. At the end of the second day, Ri Boku plans to go to Gyou’un’s camp as Kaine accompanies him.
Meanwhile over at the left wing, Ba Tei is frustrated and annoyed by Mou Ten's strategy as the Gaku Ka Unit and the remaining Ma Kou Army minimize clashes with the Ki Sui Army's forces who has the advantage as Mou Ten uses a “soft” approach to deal with Ki Sui and Ba Tei’s "hard" approach.
Over at the right wing, Ou Hon’s return is warmly welcomed by the cheering of the A Kou Army solders as they realized how amazing his tactics and bravery was on the second day of battle. Even though they did not manage to take Ba Nan Ji's head, they were able to reduce the Zhao Left Wing's fighting strength significantly. During this A Kou returns and praised Ou Hon but both he and Ou Hon expect Ri Boku to do something significant the next day and they are planning to have a war council that night after Ou Hon treats his wounds.
Meanwhile at Hi Shin Unit's camps, Bi Hei is frustrated that both Ou Hon and Mou Ten are making incredible headway in the battle while they're just there doing close to nothing at the Ou Sen Army's rear. The rest of the Hi Shin soldiers are also arguing and blaming each other for their lack of achievements so far. Shin stops them by repriming Den Ei and Shou Sa. The Hi Shin commander wants his soldiers to wait for the opportunity by staying focus but is obviously also angry as he kicks a table while badmouthing General Ou Sen.
A moment later, Ten informs them that dinner is ready. The soldiers realize that there seem to be lesser food in their bowl than usual for their dinner today. While they did receive 3 days' worth of food from Ousen, it is expected that Ma Kou’s death will result in a longer war, which mean they will have to limit their food consumption.
Ryouyou[]
Meanwhile at Ryouyou, a panic messenger appears at Heki’s tent to report that their provisions have been set on fire and destroyed.
