The Battle at Eitei Plains is a major battle fought between the Tou Army and Hi Shin Unit lead by Tou against the Raku'A Kan Army and Haku'ou Koku Army lead by Raku'A Kan during the Conquest of Han Arc in 230 B.C.

Location[]

Eitei Plains lies on the western outskirts of the Han capital, Shintei.

Background[]

Qin[]

In the prior year the second largest city of Han and defensive stronghold Nanyou was captured without resistance as the defending Haku'ou Koku Army was by order of the Han government withdrawn.

In the following 6 month Tou with the support of the former Lord of Nanyou, Ryuu'An, and minister Gokei restored Nanyou bureaucracy and with support of Shin he was able to get the Han population to comply to Qin's new rule without resistance. This peaceful occupation allowed Tou with support of Ryuu'An to convince neighbouring cities, castles and towns to stop or reduce the number of troops they send to reinforce the Han Army at Shintei.

Tou also send a local Nanyou noble to Shintei to act as an envoy and convince the Han government to surrender to Qin. If they surrender peacefully to Qin, Shintei would be governed similar to Nanyou and no Han citizen would be hurt, lose their rank or get their assets seized. He is unable to convince the Han government but his true purpose was giving Princess a massage from Tou which she received.

At the same time the Qin armies used the 6 month to train their conscript is mock battles for the upcoming battle. The Hi Shin Unit and Kyou Kai Army used the time to promote commanders to have their command structure adjusted to their increased army sizes to 60 000 and 20 000 soldiers.

Han[]

In preparation for the upcoming battle Shintei has called every unit from the surrounding castles to reinforce the Han Army at Shintei. Having originally planned with getting additional 50 000 soldiers, they only got 30 000 as Tou successfully convinced several castles to reduce or stop their support for Shintei.

Raku'A Kan still confident that Han will win the battle moved to the Eitei Plains to engage the advancing Qin Army.
